Kansai (Western) branch of the Japan Musical Saw Association (Chairman: MIYAKOYA UTAROKU) was established in 1994.
A group of pure-minded Kansai people who love beautiful and pleasant SAW MUSIC .

:Kansai Nokogiri Orchestra
Kansai Nokogiri (SAW) Orchestra is a unique orchestra, composed of saw players in Kansai region, including members of the Japan Musical Saw Association Kansai branch and some students of "Saw music class at Mainichi culture center", where SAKITA instructs musical saw.
Up to 50 players create marvelous harmony by musical saw.
It performed also in several foreign countries; Las Vegas in 1996, Musical Saw Festival in California in 1997, South Korea in 1999, Czech Republic in 2000, and California in 2004.
In November 2004, as the first musical saw festival in Japan, "MUSICAL SAW FESTIVAL IN JAPAN 2004" was held in Osaka by this orchestra.
